LIFESAVER! Seriously. I'm not even being dramatic about this one. We just spent the best $30 of our life.
In the early baby days when I was nursing or pumping around the clock and through the night, I kind of started a new hobby. I didn't realize it at the time, but in order to keep from mindless scrolling during all this extra time of just sitting, I started pouring myself into researching baby items. The more I researched, the more I realized that I really enjoyed it. So much so, that I would start to share this info with friends, and now I have people messaging me quite often to ask about different products or ideas - and I love it. We don't have a lot of extra space, I do splurge on some things but refuse to break the bank on others, and I like to find things that either meet multiple needs or can stay out of my way when not in use. Finding the most ergonomically useful baby and toddler items has become such a fun game for me. And, like so many others, 99% of what I buy, comes from Amazon. My life is just not organized enough to live off of anything but Prime delivery. So, when I realized that Amazon was my go-to shopping source, and I was already sending people links to awesome baby and toddler items I decided to become an Amazon affiliate and be more public about all of these neat things I like to find.

FIRST UP: The best $30 purchase... ever.
We have recently spent the best $30 of our life. I am not even joking. We wanted a vacuum (yes, I said vacuum, but I promise this is about to get a lot more interesting) that could be used for the little messes that happen through the day, but also one that we could easily give the big kids to use for their room and hangout spaces. We have a rainbow and a crosswave, so I had no desire to break the bank - I just wanted something functional.
Enter the Bissell Featherweight to the chat. It is 3 in 1 and that is where the magic happens. Not only is it super lightweight, but because it is 3 in 1, you can take the long handle off and this makes it the PERFECT size for your toddler!
Hayes absolutely loved it. He felt so big and pushed it all over the kitchen. This is a working vacuum, so when he is having the time of his life... he is also cleaning my floors! Hallelujah! When I think about a win-win situation, this is it. This keeps him entertained for SO long - WIN. My floors are getting cleaned without me having to do anything - WIN. The toddler is happy (can I get an amen?!) - WIN. I am only out $30 - WIN.
As far as the quality of the vacuum goes, so far, I am a huge fan. With over 92,000 reviews on Amazon and a rating of 4.4 out of 5, I knew that it had to be pretty good. Now, do I expect this to be my main vacuum...no. Does it clean my floors as good as my rainbow or crosswave - also no. BUT it is the perfect little everyday vacuum that I can pull out for those messes that happen constantly with children. It has really good suction, and I am impressed. It has no bag, so it is easy to empty and it comes with a filter. You can get replacement filters here, and they are currently on sale!
After having this for a few weeks, I can literally hand it to Hayes and ask him to sweep the mess... do you know what he does?? HE SWEEPS THE MESS!!! My 19 month old, sweeps the mess! It is the most beautiful sight in the world. Ha!

But seriously, I am so happy we got this. Aside from the cleaning aspect, Hayes really does love it. There are so many toys we have spent $30 or more on that are just that, toys.
